This privacy policy applies to the 'Fast Pay Up' app (hereby referred to as 'App') for mobile devices as an ad supported service. This app is intended for use "AS IS". However, the 'App' developer reserves the right to amend, remove or disable any functions provided by the 'App'.
This 'App' collects data that can be used to identify payees in the Hong Kong Faster Payment System (FPS).
As defined in FPS, a payee is identified by means of FPS Proxy ID, which may be a phone number, an email address or a FPS ID.
In using this 'App', you only need to input the FPS Proxy ID in defining a payee in the 'App'.
For a given payee (FPS Proxy ID), this 'App' can generate QR codes for receiving FPS payment.
In using this 'App', you only need to select a payee defined in this 'App' and input an amount to generate your required QR code for receiving payment.
All information that you create/maintain and information generated within the 'App'
(such as FPS Proxy IDs, QR codes, payment status) stays on your mobile device
and are never transmitted by the 'App' to any third party.
Separately, certain third-party services integrated into the 'App'
(described in the 'Third Party Access' section below) may collect and transmit other data
(such as advertising identifiers, approximate location, and app usage information) off your device
for their own purposes.
The 'App' may later provide a function, which can only be initiated by you as a user, to export your data to the storage external to the 'App', managed by the device's operating system.
While using this 'App', in case the 'App' encounters an unexpected error, the 'App' can generate an error report. You may then initiate the sending of the error report to the 'App' developer by email (using your device's email app) or send to a cloud service subscribed by the 'App' developer (please also see 'Third Party Access' section below) . This feature is turned off by default. It can be turned on in the 'App' settings.
Please note that the 'App' utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the 'App':
The 'App' provides delete functions for you to remove any information you input to the 'App' or generated by the 'App', at any time you wish.
You can stop all collection of information by the 'App' easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile app marketplace or network.
The error report(s) that you may optionally send to the 'App' developer will be deleted as soon as the error has been resolved or removed after a period of 90 days or less.
The 'App' is designed for persons who have account with a bank or an e-wallet that can receive payment via FPS; and no children is targeted. The age limit is thus imposed by the banks and e-wallet providers that support FPS.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The 'App' developer will notify any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-04-08. Last updated: 3 Sep 2026.
By using the 'App', you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended.
If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the 'App', or have questions about the practices, please contact us via email at fpu.support@gmail.com.
